Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you get your funding?

We receive our funding from grants, donations, matching gifts and special events.  Mother House relies heavily on the support of our community partners - like you - to ensure we can keep our doors open. Every gift counts and every community partner makes a big difference in our program and in our residents' lives.

How do I drop something off?

Please call 303-447-9602 or email us at info@mother-house.org to coordinate drop-offs or pickups.

Where are you located?

We are located in downtown Boulder, Colorado. Our facility is within walking distance to bus stops, stores, providers and community services. If you make an appointment to visit, we'll give you exact directions.

Who are mothers that can come to Mother House?

We serve people with varied backgrounds who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness. Many of our residents come to us from shelters and drug-rehabilitation centers, we also take many mothers who were sleeping in their cars, recently released from jail, or have fled unsafe and abusive home environments.

Where do residents typically go when they leave Mother House?

Our mothers leave Mother House when they secure permanent supportive housing, join a long-term transitional housing program, reunite with family, or when they are able to secure other low-income based housing.
